Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Chooses Valtera to Deliver Online Leadership Assessment System
Innovative Leadership Assessment Solution Helps Frontline Managers Identify Strengths and Weaknesses
Rolling Meadows, IL (February 24, 2009) – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has chosen Valtera Corporation to develop an online Leadership Assessment System for Children’s frontline managers.
The Leadership Assessment System will be aligned with the Children’s competency model and provide feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of participating managers as well as developmental suggestions to aid them in improving their proficiency in each of the competencies. In addition, the system provides follow-up evaluation to assess success in improving competencies. This assessment system will be a major component of Children’s frontline manager leadership development program that guides and encourages manager growth and development.
“Our search for an assessment provider focused on the particular organizations that are able to deliver exceptional tools for use in employee development,” said Sarah Carr Evans, Ph.D., Assessment & Organizational Development Consultant at Children’s. “We selected Valtera not only because of their scientifically sound assessment content, but also for their customizable reporting features that will allow our employees and their leaders to take immediate action based on the assessment results. Valtera will be able to tailor a solution that fits our unique needs within a cost-effective budget.”
“Children’s is an organization dedicated to investing in its employees and helping them reach their full potential, and Valtera is pleased to support the development of leaders engaged in this work,” said Dr. Nancy Tippins, Valtera’s Senior Vice-President and Managing Principal.
