What is involved in the validity study?

The development and validation process includes 6 basic steps:

Analysis of job requirements
Development of tests
Development of performance measures
Administration of tests and performance measures
Analysis of data
Reporting

Based on a careful review of the literature, PRA has already defined preliminary tasks and skill requirements for the three job families. Experimental tests and performance measures have also been developed. What remains in our development process is the collection of job data, test information, and performance information from individuals in the target job families and their supervisors. Once data collection is complete, PRA will analyze the data and provide technical reports to participating companies.
